The New North is a nonprofit organization that strives to harness and promote the region’s resources, talents and creativity in Northeast Wisconsin. We want to expose New North’s mission through artistic and imaginative ways using photographs. This year’s photography competition has been created to bring together the bright minds of New North’s future – you.
Students will have the chance to win more than $4,000 in school scholarships. This competition will give students the opportunity to enhance their professional portfolio and gain valuable insight into the current economic state of the New North.
Students can submit five photos per category between now and April 1, 2010. The following categories represent New North’s six initiatives which focus on sustaining and growing our regional economy:
