Great edition. Wonderful shots in here. Keep up the good work. Congrats!
[...] Azi, de ziua copilului am avut parte de o surpriza placuta. Chiar acum a aparut despre mine un articol in revista foto online Camera Obscura. Pe langa poze, puteti afla multe lucruri despre mine si munca mea in domeniul de fotografiere a copiilor si a familiilor si, nu in ultimul rand, va impartasesc poza mea preferata din copilarie. Va doresc lectura placuta si un ! 1 Iunie vesel!!! Pentru a vizualiza articolul click AICI [...]
This is very good edition.Beautiful pictures and stories.Real life. Congrats and special to my friend Umair Ghani!
ce editie superba!!! felicitari realizatorilor si artistilor inclusi!
Much delighted to see the magnificent June Issue of Camera Obscura on CHILDREN and CHILDOOD. Loved everything in it, besides layout and quality of work published, I must admire the emotional content which binds the whole mass into a strong and attractive effort bringing love, affection and awareness for kids and their issues in different parts of the world. Heartiest Congratulations to the whole team.
Creanga’s CHILDHOOD MEMORIES is a wonderful piece right at the start. Alin, Ruth David [ethereal photographs], Laura Siebert [Well Deserved Cover], Todd Laffler, Gundega [loved his "pain" and the last shot], Zuckerman [stunning work], Pavel [very spontaneous and orignal], The Story about Childhood, WORKSHOP on CHILD LABOUR and of course the final shots and the quote by MARK TWAIN all seemed well knit, a dynamically strong effort to focus our shattered attentions on global concerns relating to kids.
One of the finest I saw this year!
Reusita editie ! Felicitari !
Love your work! Looking at these made me wistful …
I envy the innocence and joy of youth! Kids’ eyes always speak these out.
The reason why I love to take photos of kids and their pets is because I get to be treated to some really awesome peeks into the truest and simplest forms of what it means to have fun, share and love.
Kids, for me, are among the hardest to photograph — yet the most rewarding. It’s quite tough to get them in the mood enough to participate. A photographer has to figure out how to break through the barriers, take away their inhibitions and encourage them to just have fun in the shoot. When all these are accomplished, everything just turns to fun, fun, fun for everyone!

I know because my family and I have photoshoots every 2 years — and I’m always amazed at how some photographers can be so patient with my kids.
This is a beautiful collection full of so much life!
I think this is nice idea. I must admire the emotional content which binds the whole mass into a strong and attractive effort bringing love, affection and awareness for kids and their issues in different parts of the world. Thank you for the information that you share.
