A photographer has to figure out how to break through the barriers, take away their inhibitions and encourage them to just have fun in the shoot. When all these are accomplished, everything just turns to fun, fun, fun for everyone! I know because my family and I have photoshoots every 2 years -- and I'm always amazed at how some photographers can be so patient with my kids. Kids, for me, are among the hardest to photograph — yet the most rewarding. It’s quite tough to get them in the mood enough to participate.
