European Drifting Championship
The tires of tenths of cars have brought on fire the parking of Polus Center in Cluj Napoca, on the 15th and 16th of May. King of Europe, in collaboration with 4Tuning and the Romanian Association of Auto Tuning hit it again with this great show, presenting 41 romanian and foreign contestants – the European Drifting Championship. The roaring engines and the controlled drifts have thrilled the viewers.
My passion for sports photography has brought me out of my warm bed right in the middle of the action, next to a huge group of sport passionate. The smell of adrenaline was all over in the air, the deafening sound of the engines was luring you closer…and closer.
Armed with my photographic equipment I joined the other snipers, carefully following the dance of the four wheeled beasts. Every movement persistently begged to be caught and every participant claimed to be captured by the frame hunters.
Although a difficult prey, the participants were trapped, one by one, in the black boxes behind the lenses.
