Mountains have always been a refuge for people and will probably continue to be. Situated in the west side of Southern Carpathians, Parang Mountains (called one of
Europe last “hidden gems”) form the eastern barrier of the Jiu Valley. The highest peak is Parangu Mare – 2518m and offers a spectacular view. These mountains are the
perfect location to lose yourself in the misty landscape and mild springs, to step on the blossom field and feel you free. It’s a far cry from a life spent in cities, in restaurants and on http://www.foxybingo.com/. Villagers’ smile gives you a feeling of inner peace that makes you want to come back there. I’ll share with you some pictures: enjoy!

The mountains are the water towers and climate regulators of the Planet. It is therefore in the interest of people living in the lowlands to support the people living in the highlands in regenerating and maintaining the valuable mountain forests. This would help to protect the fresh water sources and climatic stability for the lowlands and all global eco-systems.
Mountains are critical to life – they are the source for most of the freshwater available to us on Earth, and provide critical goods and services that half of our planet’s population depends on.
It seems to me that if this recession continues to bite that many of us will be heading to the mountains. I myself would be ok about living in tree house. No mortgage, no taxes and no boss.
Wonderful
