Submission Period
You can submit your photos monthly, from 1 to 20. Submissions sent outside this period will be published in the next number of the magazine.
Featured Photographers
Camera Obscura Photo Magazine will feature only the best first 10 photographers that will send their photos.
Steps
Step 1: Choose a theme (for example nature, street photography, photojournalism, portrait etc.). Pay attention: all your photos must illustrate one single theme. Step 2: Select 5-15 photos, medium resolution (minimum 1000px big side of your photo). You can write the date, location and the caption of your photos in a document (.txt or .doc format). Step 3: you must send us a short personal description which should include:
- Name, age, job, photo equipment, email, website
- Who are you? (a text of maximum 500 characters)
Step 4: Send the photos, caption and your personal description at office@cameraobscura.ro.
Step 5: We will inform you if your photos are published and which ones we selected.

When you send your photos please have in mind their design. You can see the magazine to have an idea of it!
Guidelines
It is not advisable to crop your photos, add strokes or to modify them too much using a photo editor because Camera Obscura focuses on real and original photos. To resize your photos you can use Microsoft Office Picture Manager, ACD See, Photoshop or other photo editors.
All the photos will have your copyright and can’t be used in other purposes.
