The photo competition “Southeast Europe:People and Culture” is destined to raise awareness and promote the southeast Europe culture. This initiative wants to fight the old stereotypes regarding the southeast Europe zone and to familiarize the public with the modern aspects of the West Balkans and Turkey.
To enter the competition, you have to be a citizen or a permanent resident of the EU Member States, the Southeast European Candidate Countries (Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey) or of the potential candidates ( Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo).
Among the prizes offered to the winners, you have the opportunity to see your work exhibited in two European capitals: Madrid and Brussels.
The deadline to enter your photos is 20 January 2010.
